Welcome to YWCA Wausau!
For almost 100 years YWCA Wausau has been dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
We have gone through many transitions over the years- from being primarily a social club, to the era of Teen Town, to opening Wausau’s first child care center.
Today you’ll find a wide variety of events and services including Women of Vision, Babysitting Rocks!, Cultural Competency training for businesses and organizations, movie nights, cooking classes, and lunch and learns. Check out our calendar for a full listing of events and check out our services page for more information on what YWCA can offer your business or organization.
YWCA Wausau is proud to be part of a movement with other YWCA Local Associations across the country and world.
While we work locally to provide services, education, and advocacy our impact is amplified across the nation by our sister organizations and national office.
