Feminist Book Club – October
Oct 2 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Join us for our October Feminist Book Club meeting.
This month’s book is “Grandma Gatewood’s Walk” by Ben Montgomery.
“She packed her things in late spring, when her flowers were in full bloom, and left Gallia County, Ohio, the only place she’d every really called home.”
We are informal here. Sometimes people bring snacks and drinks. Sometimes people don’t. It’s up to you!

Can’t make the meeting? We have a Facebook group for those who want to participate in the discussion but cannot attend the meeting. Contact us to get in on the discussion!

Inspire: Women at Work will feature 3 sessions of speakers rotating through different areas of the building. The event is designed to be “quick and dirty,” so be sure to stop by early to check-in, get the low-down, and grab a beverage to accompany you on your speaker adventure!

“Telling our stories, first to ourselves and then to each other and the world, is a REVOLUTIONARY ACT.” – Janet Mock

Our storytellers include women in non-traditional fields, women who have chosen unconventional paths, and women working to make workplaces more equitable.

This event is FREE, and while all our speakers will be women, all are invited to attend.

More information, including our speaker line-up, will be forthcoming.
